Delete Account Data

At StayFast, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your StayFast account and associated data, please follow the steps outlined below.

Steps to Request Account Deletion

Option 1: Delete via the App

Open the StayFast app on your device, navigate to Profile > Settings > Privacy, and tap on "Delete My Account". Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.

Option 2: Delete via Email Request

Send an email to privacy@stayfast.com from the email address associated with your StayFast account. Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your full name in the email body.

Data Deletion & Retention Policy

When you request to delete your account, we will process your request within 30 days. Here is what happens to your data:

Data We Delete

  • Personal Information: Your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo will be permanently deleted.
  • Payment Methods: All saved credit cards and payment details are removed from our systems and our payment processors.
  • Saved Properties: Your wishlists, saved searches, and favorite properties will be cleared.

Data We Retain

For legal, regulatory, and fraud-prevention purposes, we are required to retain certain information even after an account is deleted:

  • Transaction History: Records of your past bookings and financial transactions are securely retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by tax and accounting laws.
  • Communications with Hosts/Support: Messages related to past completed bookings may be retained to support dispute resolution and host records.
